It seems obvious — Enjoying life through self-love.
If you’re not enjoying your life in certain ways and practicing self-love, does that mean you’re not loving yourself in some way? I propose YES.
Why do we deny ourselves life’s enjoyment?
Because self-love is pretty complicated. It seems obvious, however if you’re like me, you have huge blind spots where self-love is concerned. I had to learn how to love myself in a simplicity way.
My parents were the unavailable types. Almost every attempt to get the attention I wanted failed. Because of that, my subconscious only let me see the difficult and complicated route for everything in life. I had to re-train myself to find the simplest way, and now it takes me a fraction of the time to get things done. Any kind of re-training is a generous act of self-love, and you’re worth it!
Another personal example – I used to have a profound longing for love, and sought love everywhere. I finally recognized my love addiction and stopped seeking outside myself. I used my Shamanic techniques to heal the empty places. Eventually, my needy desires went away, which opened up better relationships with high-quality people. This transformational act had many steps, pieces, and many benefits!
Self-love reads like a case study of personal success.
If you don’t have what you want in your life, look where you’re deficient in your ability to love yourself. You are not loving yourself across the finish line of your goals. The good news is, you can throw out all your other deficiencies and focus on just this one.
(Note: to the people who don’t agree, have major health issues or other problems for no apparent reason. There are karmic and soul-level reasons why we may be dealt a tough hand. A lot of successful people also came from humble roots or pain and suffering. They used the self-love of sustaining a positive attitude and using profound perseverance to overcome the seemingly impossible. I challenge you to do whatever it takes to get what you want, and let nothing stand in your way.)
Self-love is broad – there are many many aspects to it. (Find a brainstormed list here.)
Self-love is deep – in each area, there are multiple levels. My simplicity lightbulb didn’t turn on in a day, I gradually acclimated to more and more simplicity.
You can enjoy life more when your self-love is fully online because you will get what you want from life.
What will it take for you to shine your light of self-love into the darkest areas of your life?

PS – Is it really complicated or am I making it that way? I find I can do more with fewer tools and techniques. Because we all have blind spots, self-love seems to be fairly challenging for everyone in the beginning.
