Getting to Mar de Jade: Please arrange your transportation with the retreat center. They will be able to pick you up from the Puerto Vallarta airport. It is approximately 90 minutes to Mar de Jade.

Mark your Calendar NOW for your Pre-event Life Preparation Zoom video conference. This is your first opportunity to meet your new community of AwakenUp! life artists! You may also bring friends who are interested in attending the event.
In this 90-min video conference w half hour of Q&A, get steps to prepare your current life for your New Self to return from your AwakenUp! event. If you don’t prepare, your Old Life may suck you back in after your transformation, preventing your New Self from fully taking over the New Life you’re creating.
You’ll learn how to assess your life for low-energy places and get strategies to tune it up.
We’ll also have plenty of time for Q&A about the event.

Considerations for Flights to Puerto Vallarta
Arrive in Puerto Vallarta Friday the 7th if possible, so you can get to Mar de Jade as early as possible on Saturday the 8th, and no later than 2 or 3pm as this is your first day at the retreat! It is a 90-minute ride to the retreat center. We will start with our Chocolate ceremony at 5pm, followed by the temescal ceremony, and it would be lovely if you can get settled and grounded a bit before then.
There are a LOT of flight routing choices, consider using a travel agent to save time and headache. Give them a budget, arrival time and duration so they will keep looking until they meet all of your criteria.
Watch overall travel durations, some of the routes involve very long layovers in the middle of the night, which is silly since it’s not that far away. Look for a max itinerary of 11 hours.
Be careful where your layovers are and at what time. My favorite airports to have a layover are LA, Denver, San Francisco. Mexico City is fine during the day, though there aren’t comfy places to rest at this airport.
You may find routing through a Mexican city will give you more options, Guadalejara is recommended as it is the closest city to Puerto Vallarta. There are several Mexican airlines that are nothing fancy, however less expensive and may have more routing options: Volaris, Aeoromexico, etc.
